Well, we could make a Spanish/English half-pun and call oursevles 
escribitionists.  *grin*  Hmm ... I kinda like the sound of that.

Personally, I always use "journaller."  Two Ls because otherwise it 
looks funny ... although I can't do that with traveler anymore 
because I hear it (in my head as I write it) as traVELler.
